Unit 1: Money

Students learn about money. They learn to identify U.S. coins and know their values. They also learn to count money and find ways to compose money amounts using different sets of coins.

Unit 2: Fractions

Students are introduced to the concept of fractions as parts of a whole.

Unit 3: Introduction to geometry

Students learn to identify geometric shapes and solid figures by name, distinguish shapes by their respective geometric properties, and associate geometric shapes to everyday common objects.

Unit 4: Spatial sense

Students learn to recognize position of objects in space.

Unit 5: Time

Students learn to read time using analog and digital clocks. They also learn about times of everyday events, and recognize sequence of seasons in a year.
