Unit 1: Numbers and counting to 1000

Students learn numbers to 1000 in different forms.

Unit 2: Even and odd numbers

Students learn to identify even and order numbers using numbers or words, up to 1000. They also learn to count by even or odd numbers up to 1000.

Unit 3: Ordinality of numbers

Students learn the concept of ordinality and cardinality of numbers.

Unit 4: Comparison, ordering, and sequences

Students learn to compare and order numbers. They also learn to identify number patterns.

Unit 5: Patterns identification

Students learn to recognize various pattern types.

Unit 6: Introduction to place values

Students learn the concept of place values of digits in numbers. They learn to express or construct number from their expanded form.

Unit 7: Problem solving using place values

Students use place value knowledge to solve problems.

Unit 8: Rounding

Students learn to round numbers to the nearest ten, hundred and thousand. They also learn to apply rounding to quickly estimate results of addition and subtraction
